Today the White House ignored that deadline saying. Tony Snow said "it will be a little bit later. It's not quite meeting the noon deadline."

Well, while I agree with your sentiment but it does not have direct connection to the subject matter at hand.But as a follow up, the next time a crazed conservative asks why do the the liberals want to see America being defeated, we should counter with why do they want to kill American soldiers? Is their vision of supporting the troops longer rotation (while the Iraqi parliament breaks for August), underfunding equipment, cutting back veteran care and benefits, and then letting our men and women die?

Do they not have EVIDENCE?The only conclusion that I can come to is that EVERYBODY in power, f**king EVERYBODY is letting these atrocities happen. They're just taking us all out to the theater. They already know exactly what's going to happen, when it's going to happen, and how much money they're going to make from it.
