The fact is, there are criminals. People invent devices that they believe are secure enough to protect us from those criminals. However, hackers constantly test that security and urge the industry to keep making their security better. Industry listens and improves security - patching flaws. It's not that hard to understand. The ideal situation is that a hacker discovers a problem and reports it before some jackass with malicious intent does.Besides, hackers are generally very intelligent and curious people. They love the challenge of discovering how something works and tinkering.
