tpmlivewire.talkingpointsmemo.com — In a new post on the official WH blog, an administration official specifically names Fox News for lying about the administration's push to bring the Olympics to Chicago. "Last night Fox News continued its disregard for the facts," the post begins, "in an attempt to smear the Administration's efforts to win the Olympics for the United States."

Be a man and quit being all talk. Get clips of CNN and MSNBC lying. While you are at it, disprove the fact that Fox edited the clips of Al Gore talking about his profits from the green movement he is pushing. The one where in reality he said that his profits are going to charities. If you have nothing and want to keep talking go for it. You won't get a reply from me anymore, because it will just be proof that you have nothing, and that you are just a mindless follower.

Two different statements, it was on 29th of September that the white house post is referencing in relation to Vancouver. the article you are referencing was on the 30th of September.

>Oh, and Beck, you don't even know your own f**king country, stop trying to analyze ours. You could more accurately say this to Rupert Murdoch, owner and director of Fox News. Funny how all these "patriots" take their marching owners from a foreign news baron. The irony of them saying "Obama is not an American", yet somehow the Murdoch clan is... (or more likely, they don't know who owns Fox...)

"Isn't there a special term for making up future 'facts'?"Not sure if there already is, but from now on I shall call it "Foxmongering."

You can't really blame Beck here - I mean, to him all those cities in Canada look alike!

From stats in the (idiotically buried) post above, one would think they'd be *admitting* it's likely to be a money-LOSER for taxpayers if not wealthy friends, no? And apart from the whitehouse post, the First Lady has been talking about it along with various Chicago celebs including Oprah. My guess is they're trying to claim it's a money maker instead of doing any admissions, from what little I've seen. Do you actually have enough faith to doubt this??

I don't think "profit is the motive" is as accurate as "losses are the fear," at least in my case. I'm all for them getting the Olympics IF their taxpayers don't lose money in some scam that makes Tony Rezko a mint. I don't know why I'd ever suspect such a thing might happen in a politically honest and non-corrupt city like Chicago, though, so it's probably just more insane libertarian ravings.

Yup. Like I said, a big poker hand. Or would that be an expensive bluff, now that we have 20-20 hindsight??
