upi.com — A former NSA member told the House Government Reform Subcommittee about a "special access" electronic surveillance program that he characterized as far more wide-ranging than the warrentless wiretapping recently exposed by the New York Times but he is forbidden from discussing the program with Congress.

I thought the internet helped spread truth...instead it's being used here to spew pablum by glittering jewels of colossal ignorance, commenting on issues fed them by people who truly seem to hate this country. If you listen close, they're parroting exactly what terrorists are saying. Some terrorists (ie Sadaam) go so far as to take those arguments against the United States and use them as their legal defense... SCANDALOUS! Were they even aware or have they just forgotten about the ECHELON program in the mid 90's that took in far more specific American data streams than the current NSA data mining program even alleges to bring in from foreign sources? If these people are looking for REAL examples about violating the rights of US Citizens, they have to look no further than Florida and the Elian Gonzales case, where President Clinton authorized Attorney General Janet Reno to break into the house of an American family in the dead of night to take a boy from his mother and legal guardian to appease a Communist dictator. Or how about the Texas Waco invasion...sure they were packing heat; unusual for a religious group, but they broke no laws and kept to themselves...didn't bother anyone. The Clinton administration said they went in to save the kids--instead they torched them, as well as the adults...nice. And let's not forget the actual wiretap of Martin Luther King Jr. by esteemed Attorney General at the time, Robert F. Kennedy because they wanted dirt on his philandering. To those who mire themselves in nothing but conspiracy theories, here-say and innuendo, I say get truly informed OR DIE! (Thanks P Diddy, that was deep.)

@ydkj "you listen close, they're parroting exactly what terrorists are saying"Under the Patriot Act if you break ANY law you can be deemed an enemy combatant and labelled as a terrorist. So what exacly is a terrorist? That is the problem with this whole war. How about just a WAR ON ENEMIES then the war will never end and we will have fallen like all the other greats through over exposed and outstretched manpower in wars of choice while our rights are degraded at home. We will join the Romans, the British, the USSR, the Germans, the Persians and on and on. There is no continent to run to this time. And ANY time power is let go it will be abused and it will be used against you. THe world is worse than you think read some history, you should NEVER let down your guard.

Regardless of whether or not anyone has anything to hide, it's no one's business but their own what they do or do not do in their personal lives, and until they infringe upon the rights of another person, there is absolutely no excuse to violate their constitutional freedoms. War in the name of saving lives? That is completely distasteful and ludicrous. The number of deaths in the World Trade Center incident was around 3000 or so people. At least 2500 U.S. soldiers have died since then, and I'm sure at least that many innocent people have been "accidentally" slaughtered, not to mention however many "enemies" have been killed defending their country. If our leaders are so honorable and true, why is it that we can't get a straight answer out of a single one of the until they're backed into a corner? That sort of dishonesty is expected of a deviant child, not of the leadership of our country. And no, Bill Clinton is not exempt from this logic, but fortunately for him he doesn't quite have the blood on his hands that Bush does today.

The United States Of America Has Become A Fascist Police StateThe system that the NSA is using is known as SIGNALS INTELLIGENCE. Withinthis system is a program known by NSA officials as Remote Neural Monitoring. This program utilizes NSA satellites to spy on any American citizen it takes an interest in even if these people have never been arrested or charged with any crimes. The NSA uses Remote Neural Monitoring to spy on any American citizen. This spying occurs 24 hours a day 7 days a week for yearson end.The targeted person is tracked by way of their own body's electrical current -- thesetargets can be spied on illegally within the privacy of their own homes and for that matter within their own bathrooms and bedrooms. The NSA's Violation of the 4th Amendment and Civil Rights here is significant. The best information in regard to the NSA's SIGNALS INTELLIGENCE Programand the covert technology that it is illegally using on Millions of Americans at this time, can be found in a LAWSUIT commenced by a former NSA employee who filedit when he learned of the illegal and Unconstitutional ways in which the NSA was using it to spy on millions of Americans. This problem is only further aggravated by the fact that this technology can alsobe used to both electronically scan and influence the thoughts of those targeted(synthetic telepathy) by way of NSA satellites, Super Computers and microwaves. To learn more about this lawsuit go to the Google search engine and type inJohn St. Clair Akwei VS the NSA. Please share John's lawsuit with everyone youknow since it concerns every American citizen.I am also being targeted by the NSA and FBI after being illegally placed in this program more then 25 years ago. Since then these federal organizations have repeatedly violated my Civil Rights. My Website can be accessed atthe link below. Things are far worse than any of you know. Somehow the NSA (Or MI5 or CSIS) have myself under the most h-core surveillance known. These bastards hear what I hear, see what I see...and SEE what I think. It is unbelievable, for 5 years I've been under this. I pray to god the people that HATE this garbage will listen to those (Alex Jones, David Ick etc) and will bring about some revolution to the world. We need to scrap this psychological bullsh** and get back to the real. Drinking beer and G'nR...Peace,Tim
