whirlpool.net.au — Whirlpool's annual Australian Broadband Survey is a comprehensive survey run by users, for users. Through this survey we're giving the consumer a strong voice to say how they feel about the general state of broadband in Australia, and specific experiences with their provider. In previous years, well over ten thousand responses were gathered.

Stupid US broadband trying to do things like 'net neutrality' which means anything but neutrality.EDIT: I have a 16Mbit connection at home, 1Mbit upload, what do you guys have? Also, Australia is the best place to live on earth, Ill take that for some slower internet anyday.

Telstra were trying to create a monopoly with it though, those plans should have been rejected as they were.It was a greedy grab by telstra to re-instate a larger monopoly then they have.

I've got 20M/2M through ADSL2+ Annex M and I'm in Adelaide, Australia. I do understand that I'm in a tiny minority of internet users but fast internet *is* possible in Australia.

woot whirlpool on digg :DFinally,At Home I've got 7.8mbps/1mbps.With 40gig Peak and 40gig Off Peak, so 80gig in total, it's pritty sweet but as others have said the link to the US tends to be crappy from time to time,

That was heaps smart putting it on Digg. Now all other countries will come and do the survey, therefore changing results away from all Australians.
