thereconstitutionrevolution.blogspot.com — The trouble w/ criticism of Paul's voting record esp. on the popular "leftist" blogs like Daily Kos is that it is very difficult to determine where Paul stands on the issues if one looks strictly in terms of the binary yes/no vote without studying the underlying reasons for each particular vote which may be completely contrary to first impressions

What nonsensical bulls**t. Ya know the 'U' in 'USA?' It stands for 'United' - as in interdependent. Libertarianism would have the country carved up into autonomous districts with no standardization in education, healthcare, or any of the issues with the weight to effect the fate of the country. You're telling me that if Kansas decided evolution was a lie, and they were only going to teach Creationism in their schools, that would be okay by you?f**k that.

Earmarking the funds is to ensure fair representation for the taxpayers he represents - otherwise someone else would just get those funds. Regardless, he voted NO on all those spending bills, so the earmark issue is a non-starter. Yet another example of how on the surface it can seem one way, but dig deeper and you find Ron Paul is the ONLY congressman living up to his oath to uphold the Constitution.
