Digg me down, but honestly, I have extremely little sympathy for violent individuals that law enforcement officers are called in to deal with. Police officers are placed in dangerous situations on a daily basis and must have tools to defend themselves and their lives. I wouldn't want to do it, but I will damn well take their side if they are dealing with a legitimately dangerous person. Consider what you would do in their shoes in the heat of the moment.
