I once did something like this in a college statistics class. We had to do a fairly complicated regression by hand and I could not get it. I eventually wrote "We have reached spontaneous combustion!" and drew a big explosion. The instructor gave me 3 out of 5. 2 for the steps I had correct and 1 because I made him laugh!

that has got to be some of the funniest text ive read in quite some time. it makes me wonder if that guy is either really stupid and lazy, a genius that hated the assignment, or just plain f**king brilliant. im also proud of the teacher for having enough of a sense of humor to give him a passing grade. wow...
