chicagotribune.com — I thought it sounded lower than usual - and I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one who was wondering about it. "His Batman rasps his lines in a voice that's deeper and hammier than ever," said NPR's David Edelstein.

@mrgermyI liked the voice too. It was well done and added to the movie's plausibility. Digg's pathetic and schizophrenic group think is at it again! Yay....

To be honest, Bale was an okay Batman, I just find him boring, he's good looking but that's all he's got going for him, he's great as Bruce Wayne, but as Batman, not so much. In my opinion, Michael Keaton was the best Batman, and there was something about the new suit that I didn't like, I like the one from the original Batman better.

Have you read a Batman comic? Maybe it's a freak coincidence, but in the three Batman graphic novels on my coffee table, Batman has more lines than Bruce Wayne by far.

i agree... batman's voice is extremely raspy in the movie and honestly, i don't understand some of his script. lol
