mnn.com — Jamie Oliver, host of the new series Food Revolution, shows kids exactly what's in your average chicken nugget. That, in and of itself is gruesome. But the truly appalling bit is when the kids actually want to eat it when he's finished cooking. Take a look...

tottally missed the point. it's delicious because of all the stuff they ADD to it to made it taste that way. All the unnatural ingredients as opposed to just a chicken breast with some salt, pepper and seasonings.

That poor guy. He's going to go grey before this show is over in a year when corporate interests crush his spirit and eat up his money.

I think the best point here is that kids have better bulls**t detectors than adults.

Everyone, listen: That "Thankfully, chicken nuggets in this country are not made this way" was clearly a voice-over dipped in twisted legality. In other words, this IS how nuggets are made; this IS what Jamie knows to be true. HOWEVER, ABC is a corporation at the end of the day, and the "chicken nugget" industry equals big money and, thus, big power. Either ABC is somehow intertwined with said industry or ABC feared a lawsuit. (Recall when the beef industry sued Oprah?) In either case: Big money trumps all else--even the truth. I remember watching Jamie years ago doing this overseas. As a matter of fact, I remember this very chicken nugget demonstration, and--obviously--it never left me. CHICKEN NUGGETS and PATTIES (McChicken, McNuggets, store brands, etc.) are made this way! This is why they are so cheap. Some of those fast food joints do have healthier meat products, but you have to pay for that "premium" meat.

But the part of the chicken used contains no nutritional value whats so ever+1 to superkeerColonelJessup if that's the way you look at what Jamie is doing you just help paint the picture that America is just a narrow minded leper conley
