PLEASE someone tell me that digg will create a feature where the browser won't peg the CPU at 100 percent for two minutes at a time when digg pages load!

Indeed. We've all been waiting for-f**king-ever for a new comment system. I don't really give a crap about merit badges or anything. Hell, I'd trade the images section for a functional comment system any day. I'm not dissing these ideas, but let's focus on the problems at hand.
