Except that the fax machine converts the image into ones and zeros (ons and offs) and then modulates that into an audio signal - where it is later demodulated into ones and zeros which are then converted into dots on a page. (aka the modem (modulator demodulator))Just a telegraph that makes more efficient use of the phone line which is what they were envisioning.

To give them credit though, the predicted that all schools, colleges, universities and cities would have gymnasiums and that excersise would be mandatory in schools.And like the others, i'm damn unfit (238lbs and 5ft 7in) but I can walk 10 miles if I have to.

See thats one thing I love about the UK, you don't have to start paying your student loans back until you earn £15k a year (roughly $30k) and even then you only need to pay a percentage of your salary OVER that amount plus once you hit 60, your debt is wiped clean.When I graduated I started a business which pays me in dividends and I give myself a basic wage of exactly £15k so whilst I DO technically earn a lot more than the required amount, I totally get around paying back my loan! :)
