Ok, so KDE and Gnome (and crazy linux know-it-alls) say KDE/Gnome are not GUIs! They are Graphical Desktop Environments (GDE) or whatever.So what's the GUI? X?No. that page says X isn't a GUI, KDE/Gnome are.So.. I ask you.., "What the f**k?"

MasterEvilAce: KDE and GNOME aren't guis, however they do rely on GUI libraries (QT and GTK respectively) to draw their widgets, these in turn sit on top of X or even something else like win32.
