we use both systems : microsoft and linux at the same time for different puproses.it's a pleasure to work, when the boss DO know what and how to realize smth.
That reminds me of a neighbor I had a few years ago. We were investigating how to get broadband and what it would cost, and we had a meeting with the other tenant-owners. At the time we had only cable-TV, but without support for bidirectional communication. New amplifiers would be required for that.Anyway, at the meeting he "explained" to the computer-illiterate why we couldn't get internet access via the cable network. He told them that the cable-TV system could only send data in one direction, which according to him meant that web pages would work, since you only receive data to view them, while two-way communication would be required for email, since you send data to others. And this guy was in his 30's, working as a computer programmer. Imagine my surprise at his assertion that web access only required one-way communication.
