I don't have a blog. But I have thought about how I'd notify my friends online if I were to suddenly die. I load up a page on my server every week, and if it doesn't get triggered for within a week it sends out emails to people telling them who to call to check up on me.

I think if an ice storm or hurricane hit his house, he WOULD want his friends to call up and check on him... or try, at least.
