"Everything stays on the shelf"... the instant I started actually paying attention.
Fold out stuff never gets used if you have to clean it off... who does that?
Nice

What new technology will they have to stop my cats from scratching the f**k out of it?
untreadatomJun 29, 2010
Antifreeze.
street593Jun 28, 2010
I would like to see how hard it would be to move that stuff.
maccawaccaJun 28, 2010

dralezeroJun 28, 2010
How do you rearrange if everything is fixed in place?
sexyflandersJun 29, 2010
I like the ideas but what happens when something jams or if your fat ass cat jumps on the shelf and bed pops out?
freonchillJun 29, 2010
the only problem with "transforming" design furniture - the prices
$4000 for a sleeper sofa?
$1200 for 4 stacking benches
$4000 for a coffee table / table
perhaps if they had prices more like IKEA pricing, they would sell a little bit more
heavystoneJun 29, 2010
I disagree. There is nothing more valuable than space. Sure these furniture might cost a lot, but you get so much more in return.
heavystoneJun 29, 2010
Digg should start banning people that resubmit stuff!!
freonchillJul 1, 2010
then go to ikea and get stacking benches for $20 each (saving $1120)
my wife's dad got a coffee table that raises to a table and folds out, $500 (savings $3500)
go to goodwill for a 1970's sleeper sofa, $50 (savings $3950)
thats $8570... thats what, about 3-4 months rent for 500sqft apartment in NYC?

The problem is that there is now a maximum height of objects on the shelves and desks. And then you probably have a maximum weight on that bed...

What amazing creations. Contemporary design is the new thing and saving space is something everyone wants. I hjave to get this furniture in my house.
shawnb391Jul 26, 2010
"1001 places to hide a bed" Quagmire would love this :)
Seriously though, I'd like to see more inventions that don't involve so many beds... The folding tables were nice, but I'm sure they'll stuff a bed into it somehow...
