youtube.com — Pakistan is in such a perilous state that Bruce Riedel, a foreign policy expert leading President Obama's Afghanistan review, has called it "the most dangerous country in the world today." Pakistan has nuclear weapons and a government disconnected from the poverty, malnutrition, and lack of healthcare afflicting its people.

I am not sure if everybody commenting watched the movie. It is nice, but was vague & felt incomplete... It seems to consider everything is Pakistan starts and ends with Aghanistan which might not be true. Wasn't Pakistan committing atrocities against its own population and India before Taliban came into power - YES! Further for some reason China seems to have a soft spot towards Pakistan and tends to cast a blind eye to Pakistan's terrorist motives - compounding all that is their nuclear capability. IMO that entire region of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq is a very volatile and dangerous spot, the earlier it is taken care of, the better for this world and its peaceful existence.

How is nuclear arms in the hands of the Taliban any scarier than nuclear weapons in the hands of the US government, or any person's hands in general?

The U.S. is the greatest threat in the world? Name a SINGLE country that we've gone into with our military force that is worse off now than before we conquered? Germany? Japan? Iraq? Afghanistan? These are all countries that were at one point ruled by despotic leaders who killed their own countrymen to stay in power. Their rule was a rule of fear, not of law. Every country that the U.S. has liberated of these despots are today, much better off than they were before.
