prole beat me too it.Darwin has been able to install on x86 since it first came out.Only thing is, you don't get Aqua to install since it's code is for PPC only.Also allot of other programs from what I understand, I never tried it myself.

As for OS X being availible, on 'beige pcs' i dont think Apple will do that. Apple will still grow well, and is, without the help of other pcs.
