The government has no right to break-up Google. I'm sure they want to from time to time, but the real question is what would WE do if they put Google out of business?
This is patent nonsense, of course. Google's advertising division is pretty much their only means of profit (just read their fiscal reports). All other Google services are just ways of delivering ads.

I always consider advertising a type of tax I pay for product - Google is giving me the tax back in free software and disk space - cool.
