engadget.com — You're surely aware that your cellphone bleeds radiation into your face the whole time you're on the phone with your mom, best friend or lover, right? Yes, it's a fact we try not to think about most of the time, but now there's a tool out there on the internets for the more reality-facing folks among us.

But the question is if the cellphone that releases the most radiation even releasing enough to do anything. I mean, toasters release radiation.

Indeed, just thought I'd add:"OMG!!!1! Website rates best and worst cellphones by inverse range, using an almost completely useless unit!!!!!!"That many exclamation marks were necessary. Yes, punctuation marks were tortured in the making of this comment.

Okay, so then compare it to things you are in physical contact with for long periods of time. Have you ever heard of carpenters getting cancer from holding their power tools all day? Arc welders put out a RIDICULOUS amount of EM radiation. Have you ever heard of welders getting cancer from that? What about the guy who runs the MRI machine? How about the people who work at the magnet factory? Why are they not coming down with cancer more often than the rest of us?>> There are studies supporting both sides. No there aren't. There are no studies that support your side. There are only alarmist websites made by people with no education on the subject.

@askantik:they didn't take the entire health and human rights issue too seriously back then, the emperor (and later the senate) didn't give a f**k as long as the working class didn't start dying right away
