I don't see this as a bad thing. I know what information I want & where to get it. So, I hit those sites regularly. RSS feeds, portals & social bookmarking sites give me a decent sample of what else is out there, so I can hit other sites as I like. Sure, I'd like to be on top of more things. But, I want to actually live life, not just read about it online.

I visit maybe 4 sites daily (and we're talking regularly throughout the day). And I have 50+ sites in my feedreader that I usually read through in the evening. If I had to actually visit each of those 50 sites individually then.... I wouldn't. Thank god for RSS.

the problem is that its too much hassle to search. search engines are cluttered with junk sites and people don't know good websites exist and stick to what they know.this is why digg is so popular. its acting as a relevance filter. RSS is also helpful (to get in the habit of giving sites a go)directories should be the answer, but I find they can be cluttered with junk as well.

I view so many different websites per day but I still have a certain few (around 10) that I re-visit everyday.
