dallasnews.com — A Web site, www.wehirealiens.com, lists companies from Pilgrim's Pride to Swift & Co. as "alleged" employers of illegal immigrants. Both those food companies have had employees at their Texas operations arrested for immigration violations and document fraud, but many other companies listed on the site have not.

Dangerous. Leave the enforcement of immigration laws to the authorities.

Nah, I'm good with this. The largest accelerant and lifeline of illegal immigration is employment. If a company is doing something, supporting something, donating money to, etc. something which I disagree with then I want to know about that.I would choose to no longer give them my money. This site provides that information. Right on to 'em.

I am sympathetic to this cause, living in Houston I feel I am near the front line of this silent assault. That said this website is full of rumor and assumption. They must exercise some quality control as they are being blotted out by the lunatic fringe. Not speaking English, though terrible, does not mean the person is illegal. How dare they put me in a position of defending these people. They are on the cusp of something wonderful but bigotry and stupidity are bringing them down. Bury.

Right. So what you are saying it illegal immigration costs much less than the Iraq war.

@capitalism is just paid slavery. That is one of the most unbelievably ignorant statements I've ever heard. Capitalism isn't easy & no one guarantees you'll succeed. But, it's about as free as you can get. You are free to pursue any kind of career you want. You can work for just about any company that'll hire you. If your terms of employment are unsatisfactory, you are generally free to leave at any time. Hell, you aren't even required to work in a capitalistic society. All that's required is that you find a legal way to pay your own bills. I guess for you being responsible for yourself = slavery.

I didn't say all of those companies were employing illegal immigrants. I just said that MANY have to be employing them, dealing under the table and pretending they're innocent. How to cover stuff up? Threaten with suit. That usually scares people.Even if the suit would expose facts, there are way too many cowards that turn the blind eye once they realize their convenience is endangered.

@dogfood. We are in agreement. Those attempting to legally immigrate to our country should not routinely face a long, difficult and expensive ordeal. We should make every attempt to encourage compliance with our laws by making them as reasonable as possible.

meed- Yes, there are many career fields like construction and landscaping where Americans want to do those jobs but are turned-away when they ask to fill-out an employment application, Click Link:http://www.communati.com/node/3250
