I didn't use to think much of ColdFusion but a guy who used to work for me got into it and people are throwing money at him. Job offers, contract work... all for an insane amount of cash. Of course it helps that he's a really sharp guy, but he thinks ColdFusion is awesome and I respect his opinion. It'll be interesting to see what Adobe does with it. Regardless the site is awesome. End users don't care whether a site was created using PHP or ColdFusion, FrontPage or Notepad, tables or CSS. All they care about is whether a site works, is attractive, and has good content. If a site has usability problems, attack the specific problem but attacking a site just because of what was used to create it is childish.

Consider it +Dugg!Had the pleasure of seeing the draft of this effort, got busy with my own pursuits, and just got to look at it today. The draft was very good - the finished product even better. Unlike some, I'd recommend it as a great read for anyone involved with web design in any capacity. I've only been active on the Internet since 1994, if you don't count intranet GUI work for several years prior to that, and I found several insights that will be incorporated into my overall view of the subject. Heck, the chapter on site architecture alone was worth the click, and it's just one small section. Well done!
