forbes.com — "For those who are wondering, Web 2.0 is just getting started. Yeah, I said it. Witness the frenzy at marquee venture capital firms. Given the piles of money they're deploying, we've probably got three to five more years of new deals ahead of us."

Santa Claus is not an bubble.

Web 2.0 is just another bubble, kinda like dot com boom. Only this time, the technology is better and those in the game will be smarter about what works and what doesn't. There were lots of trigger-happy VCs in the preceding bubble, just like now. The Web 2.0 bubble will also pop, there will be a shakeout, and only the real value-adding contenders will remain. Same with Web 3.0. Whatever that will be.

Put up a public resume that you have 10 years experience working with Web 2.0. I bet recruiters will still contact you.

No doubt. And anyone I interview who mentions "Web 2.0" as if it's real won't even make it to lunch.
