If I have $2000 in my bank account at the end of the day, it doesn't mean I made $2000 that month. It's the net difference between my savings prior to that month, my earning and my spending. That's what the climate is. It's a sum of billions of factors. No model can possibly incorporate them all and anticipate everything. When people ask questions what is happening, warming or cooling is when they fail to understand that there are no separate climate models - there is only one and our failure to incorporate the variety of sub-models into is is causing a confusion. Climate change is caused by the difference of contributors, not by a single one. We've been fed this bulls**t with 2 curves - CO2 and temperature, led to assume that there was nothing else on the planet causing a climate change. The scientists doing the research are not dumb, but they digest and process information to make more sense to the general public. Then people draw false conclusions. They rush decisions and solutions before they can even understand the problem.
The Kyoto Protocol is a steaming pile of offal. It is only nominally about reducing CO2 emissions and is primarily about funneling money from Annex 1 countries to Non-Annex 1 countries."Climate change" is synonymous with "global warming". Admitting climate change is occuring is not akin to acknowledging anthropogenic change is occuring.

If I close a box at the speed of light, does light stay in the box? Nevermind. I lost the box.
