I think it's an interesting discussion, and I do believe you are sincere (not just being a troll!)...I cannot bring myself to vote for McCain, Obama, or Hillary - I have to live with myself and my decision. Trying to decide who is the "lesser" of three evils is not something I have the clairvoyance to determine. The outcome will be what may, and you can call it throwing away my vote, but when I look myself in the mirror, I want to be confident that I voted for the best, most qualified person, that I believe should be President. I cannot say that regarding the other 3 choices.

I went to sign the petition and it requires a donation. For that, i would bury this post, if not for the thoughtful and respectful discussions taking place on this post.

McCain the insane, yes a real liberal Democrat. The sheeple are about ready to find out how things really run in this country.

I think that you can always request a paper ballot. I know that in my district we have the little "ipod looking" voting machines and we always have a choice of paper if we ask for it. You should too =)

f**k the GOP!I'm an independent. the only reason I signed up as a republican was because of Ron Paul.I will still vote for him in November probably guaranteeing a democrate president in 08!

nope. A lot of people apparently threw away their votes in the primaries voting for McCain who will lose in November to the Dems. The margin will be wide enough that the vote of the Ron Paul supporters won't matter. Currently the polls show a close race.. but wait until the Dems aren't attacking each other and instead have their sights fixed on McCain.

I don't consider it a wasted vote at all. I'm voting for the person i feel in my heart will do the best job in the office and it is certainly not one of the Big 3 the media is shoving in our face day in and day out. I would go so far as to say that those who continue to vote for the establishment and the people who represent the establishment are wasting their votes not the other way around. We should not be forced to choose between the "lesser" of ANY evil and yet time and time again we're settling for the candidate that the GOP or Democratic conventions choose for us. I don't find that acceptable anymore. This is my country too damnit, and I refuse to quietly let this farce go on any longer.
