I still remember being amazed back in the DOS days with the app called "Sidekick" which let you bring up a calculator ANY TIME YOU WANTED. Terminate and Stay Resident programs (TSRs) FTW.

Another iPhone / iPad killer."We'll make an iPad except we'll change a whole bunch of things about it and use a desktop operating system. We'll also throw in a bunch of little icons that are smaller than your finger tip. This will be f**king excellent. And it'll only cost $800 bucks sweet. Take that Apple!"When will these companies learn? Its not USB ports I want or a desktop operating system. It has to be simple, easy to use and designed for carrying around with buttons bigger than my finger tip.

LOL, danisth most of the entire civilized world spends at LEAST 3 hours a day staring at glowing rectangles. At work, watching tv, surfing the internet, playing video games, using your iPhone, using your blackberry...Some of us spend 10-12 hours a day staring at glowing rectangles. And you think it wont be practical to read on a screen????
