thinkprogress.org — Washington DC FM talk radio station 106.7 WJFK yesterday announced it was dropping Bill O?Reilly?s nationally syndicated show, and replacing it with a sports-talk program. The Washington Post reports today that O?Reilly?s cancellation is a ?case in point? of how poorly conservative radio programs have fared in DC.

this is very stupid. conservative radio dominates the air waves. it's helped to rally support to defeat the immigration bill. why do you think piloski, et al are so scared of it and want to introduce the 'fairness' doctrine which will never pass? woo hoo one channel removed o'reilly. what about all the other markets in which o'reilly, savage, hannity are in the top 10? where is air america and liberal channels? i didn't think so!

Apparently Zosh- you don't listen to him or watch him because if you did then you'd know what the hell you're talking about. I love it how people spew so much hatred for O'Reilly calling him a hate-monger attention whore...geesh...hypocrites galore!

Don't bother, they think MSNBC and PBS are moderate, and Olby and Jon Stewart are real newscasters.Delusional.

If conservative radio is failing in DC, aterkel, why is Rush the first to go, Sean Hannity the second to go, and Mark Levin the third to go? Opposite your claim, their numbers are up and strong in DC.O'Reilly is being let go probably because his radio show is inferior to others in his market against whom he is competing.

I agree with right75, this is Bill Clinton's fault.

It's not only democrats that hate Orly. I'm Irish AND a republican, and the guy's last name means he's kindred to me, but he's a tool and a government shill and everyone knows it.join our side man, we're a lot friendlier and a lot less sensationalist than the normal people you interact with and support, but you'll at least affect a better world for your children in the future =)

Another sensitive remark from the all inclusive. Gee, I wonder what you look like, so safe behind your keyboard, you sound a little insecure.
