washingtonpost.com — Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh today attacked actor Michael J. Fox for faking Parkinson's Disease in an attempt to garner support for stem cell research. "He is exaggerating the effects of the disease," Limbaugh told listeners today. "He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act."

@plunk0Surprised killinger777 doesn't have a response. Actually, I'm not that surprised. If you look at his posts, you'll see they're seldom ever substantive, and usually just parroting right wing talking points or trying to stir s**t up just for fun (read: troll)

Nice move, Rush. After your comments, I'm sure that there won't be a groundswell of support for either Michael J Fox OR Parkinsons research OR stem cell research.

This thread is just sad and depressing. I lost a close family member to parkinsons. When he went, his symptomes weren't as bad as MJF, but they were still enough to kill him. I watched him waste away for years. I applaude MJF for bringing attention to his cause and I'm deeply saddened that this is such a political and divisive issue. It shouldn't be.

Just how far does one go to discredit anyone who disagrees even one bit from the republican agenda? I guess one accuses a nationally beloved celebrity with a horrible disease of faking symptons.

No, he stopped taking his meds to gain sympathy. Please, try to look beyond what E! or MSNBC spoon feeds you. I beg of you, look beyond, and try to find the rhetoric behind what he did. (Its right there, you just have to open your eyes)

Lets not forget that Fox has actively supported both Democrats and Republican campaigns over the years.I wonder if Limbaugh has gone after former first lady Nancy Reagan for her support of stem cell research.
