climateprogress.org — Incomprehensibly, the Washington Post — after being roundly criticized for having senior editors and fact-checkers (and then their ombudsman!) sign off on (and then defend) George Will’s first error-riddled global warming column — has allowed him to reassert in a new column that every single one of his falsehoods was factual.

A great blow by blow refutation of George Will's willful and repeated misquotation of sources.Shame on the Washington Post for calling his columns 'fact checked'. It makes you wonder about the rest of their reporting. On an issue with such high stakes - why would they continue to let him write such drivel and then syndicate it?We know enough about the climate science to know we face very serious risks and should take urgent action to move to a low-carbon economy. And if we're wrong about man-made climate change? Well, we get national security, economic resilience and fewer children with asthma. Sounds like a great deal to me.If your newspaper syndicates George Will, let them know how badly the Post misled them. Let your congressman know in a quick email that you don't buy the tired and repeatedly debunked global cooling idea and you expect action on climate change - I guarantee you, he's hearing from the skeptics and assumes you won't notice what he does for the fossil fuel lobby.
