gaygamer.net — Cho Seung Hui, the troubled young man whose nightmarish assault on his fellow students will most likely be studied for years to come, doesn't seem to have been someone who had any involvement with video games in his recent history.

@ceil,I am not religious. However, I recognize that Cho was insane, and do not hate him.Of course, his insanity doesn't matter in the Christian ideal of god. If he was insane and "accepted Christ" at the last instant (after he shot himself, but before he died -- even head shots don't always kill instantly), he'll go to heaven. Otherwise, it's fire and brimstone for him.I don't believe in any god, but if I did I'd find it hard to accept that one would be that irrational.Incidentally, though, I respect that you've been consistent. It's far better than most of the religious. The ones throwing insults are just not thinking.

not to be the downer here but after reading the transcript of the interview it seems to me the quote about video games was taken a bit out of context. Dr. "Obvious" Phil was generalizing a generation of young adults, stating that we are all being programmed to a world of violence by video games. Of course this is bulls**t. The early 16th century was way more violent. Iraq is way more violent, WW! and WW!! were obviously filled with all sorts of horrors. I pity those that eat up knee jerk comments from these narcissistic celebrities. I agree that family values have lost stock in this country and maybe instead of medicating 60% of the population into thinking everything is alright, we should spend more time with friends and family, especially our kids.

Actually people tried to talk and never got a reply, If you read the wiki its full of comments like"He always seemed a bit odd""He never talked""He was took pictures of girls""he stalked girls"And to think no one thought "this is a weird guy maybe he needs help"Nope lets live in ignorance and pretend no one could of helped.

No he wasn't a gamer. He used dual pistols. He was a fan of John Woo action films. "He no good unless he have two pistols!" - What my brother and I say while watching John Woo films.

The warrant lists "computer hardware" and "computer software".I think it's completely inaccurate to say that those can't contain any video games.JT and his clones are liars, and there is no need to lower ourselves to lie too.

Report: Jack Thompson claims to have seen police burying CounterStrike in Cho's backyard. Are games corrupting police? Could Grand Theft Auto be the culprit? New at 11.
