Has the general public really picked either of the two formats? Sure, maybe the people that always need to have the latest gadget bought blu-ray at a 2:1 ratio but I think price will be the deciding factor a few years from now when everyone slowly makes the switch. I am sticking w/ dvds for a long time, the resolution is just fine.
