Come on acejones, you know exactly what he is saying. He is upset because you are not interested in something he is interested in. So he asked that to try to make you look stupid. To these science people, religion equals stupidity, remember? Now stand back while he starts bashing your beliefs.
no sarcasm. I'm kinda jabbing at people who think as soon as spem hits egg it's a human. i dont see why we can't use embryonic stems cells for use in curing diseases and regenerating damaged tissue, esp if it's not going to be used to make a child (eg, frozen in a lab). sure, there's potential to grow into a human, but with a nudge in another direction it could easily be a lump of liver cells.
Im sorry but that embroy is not a f**king human! Its way way way to f**king early. If it was in its 4-5th of pregnance I would consider it a living human being. This is absurd. That people are standing inront of medical progress over something that isnt even close to a human. As far as adult stem cells being a better choice, not true. Although there has been more sucess with them so far you have to remember embryonic stem cells havent had the chance to be tested extensively enough to make any conclusion like this. What we do know is that embryonic stem cells have more cabalities then adult stem cells.Just because you 'fell' like it is alive doesnt mean it is. People should not be bale to ault medical progress over bulls**t like the. Stem cell research will go on.If you dont like it, dont use it when its avalibe and you need it.
Stem Cells did not exist in our minds at one time too because we had yet to discover them. So just because you have not seen something does not mean it does not exist. And the guy never said Stem Cells were stupid or did not exist. He said he was not amazed by them. His belief in god has nothing to do with him not being amazed. He is right, the question about him believing in god has nothing to do with his comment. Yet it will be made into something by religionaphobes.
