getkurrent.com — ...from American Electric. As long as you don't need to take it on the highway, you can travel 35-40 miles (@ a constant 25mph) on a charge. Recharges from empty in 8 hours on standard 110v house circuit. Sure, it looks like a golf cart and a SMART car got it on, but it's a pre-built, drive it away, no hassle option. I'm sure you could load it up w/ subs... but the EV range may drop to a couple hundred yards when you dial it up to 11. Though you could possibly use the volume controls as a sort of turbo dial.
