billshrink.com— While there are certainly benefits to most upgrades, many of these decisions are made impulsively, or based on poor logic.

The gasoline thing is way wrong. IT DEPENDS ON YOUR ENGINE! Some cars are made to run on 87, 91, 93, etc. My 08 VW Rabbit requires 87 and it works just fine. But the 08 GTI requires 93. If I put 93 in my Rabbit it would be a waste, I would see no gains and it would cost more, UNLESS I upgraded the ECU to take 93. The GTI is programmed for 93, it is better for the engine and turbo and if you put 87 in it, it's going to lose power and break down sooner.
Yeah, if I feel like its a book I'm going to want to hold onto, I'll go ahead with the hardcover. Besides, the hardcover editions almost always come out months ahead of the paperbacks. So if its something I really, really want to read and the library doesn't have, well I only have one option.I might also mention that often times one can get books at a discount online.
LCDs dont suffer burn inOr did they semi solved that in plasmas now?Power consumption - bout the same (My Parent's 52" LCD takes 300W on max brightness)As for meI'll wait till im out of uni first, and hope that OLED TVs are out by then

I wholeheartedly agree with the red label whisky over black.
