gizmodo.com — Here's the video review for the new Wacom Cintiq 12WX, a tablet that allows you to draw directly on the screen with extreme precision, great feel and amazing results (even with butter fingers like mine). The Cintiq 12WX is probably the BEST peripheral I have ever tried.

It would be nice. Before this was announced I was looking for a Cintiq, and the cheapest I could find used was an old 13" for $800... so the 12" actually looks like a relatively good deal.

I've used the 21UX quite a bit, and for me the size is almost a problem. It's difficult to rotate, and 16 pounds doesn't feel that great if you use it in your lap. The 12" really seems like an optimal size, at least to me personally.

How do you get your x61 to run that resolution?

There are only 3 Cintiq models and the other 2 are a 21" and a 20". Do you mean you found an old Wacom 13"?

I m actually thinking of the x61 or the wacom 20"... what would u recommend? is the x 61 pretty good when it comes to sketching? i know the screen is smaller but for the price i also have a laptop to go. Its just how r the abilities on the x61 in comparison to the wacom tablet ??? thanks for any feedback

Am I the only one who would like to paint while sitting on the couch or in the car? I'm sure asking for a tablet is too much to ask, but how about a wireless version of the 12wx? Someone tell me why I'm an idiot for asking this.
