opednews.com — There are about 30 scams the Repubs are deliberately using, particularly in the swing states to get Democratic voters off the rolls. And instead of reforming what happened in FL it basically institutionalized all the problems that happened in Florida. And institutionalized a series of impediments that make it very difficult for Democrats to register

<a class="user" href="https://www.voteforchange.com/index_obama.php">https://www.voteforchange.com/index_obama.php</a>This is a warning for everyone to go and make sure you are correctly registered to vote and are aware of all the required document if any that you should bring (most states never require this but many are being using sneaky reasons to disqualify a voter). This link will give you faq sheet about your particular state, deadlines and requirements<a class="user" href="http://www.declareyourself.com/index.php">http://www.declareyourself.com/index.php</a>Also prepare to go in and vote during your early voting periods in your state to avoid the long lines and broken polling booths that plaqued voters in high numbers in Democratic electorates. Specifically young people college precincts, and places where a high population of minority voters

This happened to me. I was amazed when I found out that there is no longer any record of my voter registration with the Registrar's Office of the Town of Greenwich, where I last lived before moving abroad in 2002. I voted in Greenwich in all state and local elections since moving there in 1992, including the presidential elections of 1992, 1996 and 2000. I voted by state ballot from abroad in 2004. This year, I used the tool the Obama campaign (<a class="user" href="http://www.voteforchange.com/index_obama.php)">http://www.voteforchange.com/index_obama.php)</a> made available to check your registration, and it found -- nothing on record! I contacted the Town of Greenwich Registrar's Office, and they replied to tell me that I am not registered in the Town of Greenwich!I have since sent this article and an unbelievable reply one Obama campaign volunteer encouraging people to register to vote and check the status of their registration with their local registrar's office received from her local Registrar to several thousand people on various listervs, and posted it in my blog, <a class="user" href="http://www.thesisyphusjournals.com/2008/09/protect-your-right-to-vote-now-pass.html.">http://www.thesisyphusjournals.com/2008/09/protect ...</a>Stand up America. Stand up now.

Actually, if anyone happens to read this, that is not what happened to me. I did some checking, and I learned from one of our very friendly and helpful Asst. Registrars that I was removed in 2003 because I no longer live in my old state and town. I did some further asking, and I learned that although I vote using that address, I am actually registered to vote at the time of each federal election for that election, but not maintained on the rolls. This does not take away from the importance or the significance of this article for others.

WHAT? republicans lying, cheating and stealing? THAT'S all they do! They've made careers out of it. How can it happen? Americans are too dumb to know they're being lied to, simply enough. So, so sad.
