the reason he thinks it's out of calibration after it was calibrated, is because the person in the video does not understand how the straight ticket feature works. by choosing straight ticket, it checks all of that party...but you can still manually change your choice for any specific race.after calibration, in the video, he choose straight ticket dem, and it works...but then chooses nader manually in the presidential race. one would assume you can go and then select the rep straight ticket afterward and that the presidential choice would change. but it remains, in case, for instance you wanted to vote straight rep, but vote nader for president.this same system is explained if you vote by paper (which i did, and early). it clearly states that you can fill in the box and vote for straight ticket, but if you fill in the box in a particular race contrary to your straight ticket choice, the choice in that particular race will override your straight ticket choice.it's pretty much like selecting all files, and then ctrl-clicking the ones you don't want to copy...oh, and in my area, you have a choice between electronic or paper voting. nothing is forced.
yeah im simple minded for not understanding why everyone is getting all worked up about a voting machine that has a glitch when it wont have the slightest impact in the election, its just one more thing cable news can fill their 24 hour of "news'. and no s**t the entire campaign process would be different....there would be even more lying and spinning of the truth involved because now they arn't trying to trick well educated delegates rather than just the average American.
Wrong!!It isn't the hardware that's having problems, it's the calibration of the software being used to interact with the hardware. How could you be so stupid to think otherwise? And you completely misunderstood my metaphor.Have you ever even calibrated a touch screen before? Or a PDA? When you initially set it up you're usually told to touch the four corners and a center point so that the software knows what points on the monitor correspond to the actual points of the screen being displayed. It bugs me when morons who know nothing about hardware and software but yet think they're experts in the field.
I cut and pasted this from another digg member, so I can take no credit - but get involved!!!FIRST, MUST READ: TAKE ACTION NOW!http://www.nomorestolenelections.org/ Every possible type of voter fraud here and actions to take asap! You have to calibrate the calibration. Why use touchscreen??? How about a trackball or a mouse!

I would put my finger(s) near his VP though.
