cgi.ebay.com— Someone is auctioning off some old 12 mb Voodoo 2 cards with SLi, drivers, and a copy of Doom III that will run on the cards!!

I owned the Voodoo 1 through 4, and think the Voodoo line of accelerators/video cards were excellent, until 3DFX went out of business and Nvidia bought what was left, pretty much tossing it in the garbage, along with support for the products. It turned me against their company somewhat. As you can see with this auction, there's two Voodoo2's, hooked together using SLI, a technology Nvidia only recently "developed", yet 3DFX did it like 7 years ago.
3DFX and Voodoo were the s**t. I remember getting my first real graphics card, a Voodoo 2 3000 16mb, and finallay being able to run Quake III. Not only can these Voodoo 2 SLi cards run Doom 3, anything on the Quake III engine will run nicley with a simple patch. This means newer games like Call of Duty, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor, and more will still run on the older Voodoo cards. The Voodoo 5 cards were awesome too, SLi except on a single card. Genius. It's a shame Nvidia bought 3DFX.
