thedigitalgamer.typepad.com — Viva Piñata's charmingly rendered online safety message, it's dual control (so a parent can help out a struggling youngster via a second pad), its colourful and characterful creatures - all seemed to be in place to ensure its success as Microsoft's trailblazing high definition kid-friendly Trojan horse.

I never really considered buying the game, as theres so many good games on and being released for the 360. Theres a sale on at EB though, selling VP for AU$35 (a standard price for 360 games is $100). I didn't think it would be that good, but then this article compares it to 'Ico' and i have to rethink my stance. I'll get the demo, but is it worth the money?
