Visual voicemail prompts lawsuit- Think Secret

notes.thinksecret.com — Apple and AT&T are being sued for patent infringement on account of the visual voicemail feature the iPhone employs.Klausner Technologies, a company that exists in little more than name only, is seeking $360 million in royalties and damages for two patents it says visual voicemail infringes upon. Klausner holds about 25 patents related to voicemail services and his owned by a group of private investors; the company has previously won lawsuits it filed against both AOL and Vonage.It's unknown whether Klausner, some of whose patents are valid worldwide, will file similar lawsuits against other iPhone carriers around the world that also offer visual voicemail.
