This digg is not quite original. It's not from its official website, although it comes from the Microsoft ASP.NET developer, Scott Guthrie. We should digg this: (it goes directly explaining what is VS 2005 SP1 and the download link) http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/support/vs2005sp1/default.aspxand here's the digg site:http://www.digg.com/programming/Visual_Studio_2005_SP1_ReleasedUnfortunately, the original digg was dugg by only a few diggers, including me. I bury this duplicate digg!

Yes, it depends on the number of projects you currently have built with VS ect. The minimum requirements are based on a clean install of VS and then a straight upgrade to SP1.
