lifehacker.com — The problem with dual-booting Windows is the inconvenience of having to restart your Mac entirely. The problem with virtualizing Windows is that it can be unreasonably slow for a prolonged session. Now that Boot Camp and Parallels work together, you can choose between virtualizing or booting into your Windows depending on what you have to do.

Same here. I've been playing with Beta 4 tonight and Boot Camp sharing (with FAT32) worked like a charm. Unity and the Application Launcher are slick features, too. It has really come along. I also had an old suspended VM Image from Beta 3 and I was surprised with how quickly it restored the session.I think I'll be dishing out for the $39 pre-order option, when it becomes available.

Seems Apple trolls have the same problem. Guess they have more in common than they may have thought.

Why is it that I see so many "fluff" stories appearing here? As was stated above this is nothing new. I love how people write pieces with what seems to be the single goal of getting "dugg" to drive web traffic. One of digg's downfalls. No wonder so many people (try to) get rich off the web...

from here: http://www.parallels.com/en/news/id,11791Vista Boot Camp Support: Existing Windows Vista Boot Camp partitions, as well as Windows XP Boot Camp partitions can be run in a Parallels virtual machine. Users can switch between running Windows in Parallels Desktop and Boot Camp as often as they would like. Why does the article say this isn't possible?

Yes. You can hibernate your Mac session and un-hibernate into Windows, and vice versa. That will prove to be a killer feature for those who need to dip into Windows occasionally.
