Damn, I wish I had this guide before last night when I finally bought some Virtual Console games. I wouldn't have wasted 500 points ($5) on Mario Bros., the controls make it so painful to play. Super Mario 64 rocks though, it brings back so many memories. I think I might get Sonic the Hedgehog next.
I don't know why people are digging you guys down. Emulation is a very good point. I've already paid for many of these games at least once.. and sometimes twice (e.g. Mario 64, Mario 64 DS). There's no way I'm paying for them again at this price unless they add something like online multiplayer. If they were cheaper, I'd buy them all. At the current price, I only bought Zelda and don't plan to buy any more for now. Also, some of them are just complete rip-offs. Donkey Kong being the same price as Zelda? Wha? Donkey Kong is worth no more than a dollar. As fun as it may be, the game is only a few minutes long. I don't blame people for wanting to emulate the games.
i have to get bonk. i love that game. also maybe i'm one of the only ones buy altered beast rocked when i was younger. played it on my friends system when first came out and was great. those are the 2 games i really want to get. sonic would be fun too. now i just need a wii. 5 months until my birthday and it'll be mine. by then they'll have a better and wider selection.
The guy laughed at the fact some people might spend 8$ on Altered Beast. Out of all the games for the VC right now, it was one of the game that interested me the most and I'd gladly pay 8 bucks for the nostalgia feeling, and for those who never tried it before, I suggest you do. My 2 cents.
I'm looking forward to Gunstar Heros, my friend showed me it awhile back on emulator and we tried playing internet play, didn't work. When it comes out on VC, then I can play multiplayer.

The only problem with the Sega VC games is that it can't emulate the Blast Processing very well ;)
