Well it didn't degrade into flaming or yelling, so technically your point failed. If you point was instead that all arguments point out the bigotry that DOES exist, then of course, we all agree. It's like saying "If someone against rape could make an argument without mentioning consent I would be amazed." Why would people not address the actual point?

I really hope that allan93 is really trolling and doesn't actually believe the s**t that he is writing.

Lydecker, get real, one's choice of sexual actions does not deteremine their 'identity' as a protected class of people.

It doesn't change any existing marriages to allow gay couples to get married, just like it didn't change any existing marriages to allow interracial couples to get married... even though they made the same arguments you did. The definition of marriage, like the definition of anything else, has always changed historically, and now every dictionary I've read includes a definition that applies to gay couples who wish to be making. The foundational building block of society is marriage, which doesn't go away because gay people also create that block. And people generally agree it IS discrimination. And you didn't address DADT at all, I note. Ignoring the facts you don't like really does help you out, doesn't it?Self destructive choices, which I've already addressed and accepted as SEXUAL PROMISCUITY, regardless of sexual orientation, are often a common denominator of depressed and suicidal cases, but also a lack of self esteem due to parent rejection or failing to be able to find a support group are common. Homosexuality is not a choice, heterosexuality is not a choice, but sexual behaviors regardless of your orientation or interest in partners is.Nobody is projecting malaise on society just by seeking equal treatment and equal rights, and contrary to what you might have been led to believe homosexuals do not all experience a general feeling of being unwell. Homosexuals and heterosexuals can and do make the right lifestyle choices everyday, including formerly promiscuous lifestylers.Demonizing homosexuals does not further your own pride-driven, self-righteous victimization (you know, claiming to be the victim because other people are getting equal treatment, that your marriages are the only good ones and that other people are destroying yours).Tell me, what self destructive choices did David Reimer make that led to his suicide?Transgenderism is not confusion, and is not bad for America at all, bigotry and hatred is the only thing that harms America. There is ABSOLUTELY no morality shoved down your throat because transgendered people exist, that is quite ludicrous, ESPECIALLY when you are the one shoving your own version of morality at others saying they are wrong.Equal rights WILL come for all, eventually, as we see progress happening in each state and in each country. Don't hold your breath and hope somehow that ignorance will return to the masses or that factual evidence will be overturned. It won't.Thanks for showing over and over again that your point is one of ignorance, bigotry, and discrimination.

As they have removed discrimination protection from gays, I would like to see them remove discrimination protection for all currently protected groups. Either protect all vulnerable groups from discrimination or don't protect any group.

"If my suicide theory was correct, then gays surrounded by a support group would commit suicide much less often, and that is exactly what studies have found. It's not about being in a city, it's about finding a support system."Their "gayness" has nothing to do with suicide , as I said before suicidal thoughts and temptations of it transcend the socio-economic statuses of society, I have even been tempted with suicide, EVERYONE has, if someone is prevented from such through a support group good for them, but there is no such thing as "gay suicide" as you seem to ignore over and over again. The tradgedy is that the word "gay" has been hijacked by the diviancy of the acts to turn it completely upside down to mean people who try to involve themselves in unnatural relationships trying to find hapiness. True there are Heterosexual marriagess that have problems but more than anyother group, man/woman uinions with children and grandchidlren do the best over time and provide the most happiness and fulfillment and health. Monogamy between one man and one woman for the benefit of the family which is the children's environment beats out homosexual and heterosexual promiscuity every time. Studies also show that when homosexuals were granted unions, they rarely, if ever stay together more than a few years. Depression is the result of trying to form these unnatural relationships that will never last becasue they are doomed from the onset of their own structure and inclinations for phyusical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual reasons combined.Studies abound showing the plight of homosexuals finding the exact opposite of "gay" in their choice of actions and for anyone to suggest that their lifestyle choice should be protected with a law is absolutely insane based on the tons of evidence showing its own self-destructive tendancies.

Gays would not be so promiscuous if they could get married. There are two very good reason that few gays have been married for a long time -- same sex marriage is illegal in the US, or has been legal for only a short period of time. Gay marriage is legal in just a few states right now. The other reason that gays are not getting married is because the federal government does not recognize it. Due to the patchwork of laws and the uncertainty of the laws remaining in place, a gay married couple could end up being in a position where they can't get divorced if it doesn't work out. I have been living with my partner for over 12 years, and we would have been married for 12 years if it weren't illegal. I know of several other couples that have been together for about ten years or more. The divorce rate for gay couples in countries where it is legal is about the same as for straight couples.

I am NOT going to give any page hits to a source called ""biblebelievers.com"; post the actual research links, not something from an anti-gay organization.

Sorry I will not "issue" over web pages. You want to talk about the impirical research I presented. Go ahead, but putting your head in the sand by trying to play the bias game is a little childish and anti-intellectual."These facts don't bely the farce of gay marriage any more than they do of straight marriage.""At any instant, about 10% of gays live together in monogamous relationships. "YOu are wrong, if only one fact you cannot deny thatone. Straight marriages by in large have 2/3 of them stay together for life long commitments. There is only a 50% divorce rate because the 1/3 that doesn't say married, keeps marring and divorcing over and over again thus racing the percentage making it SEEM like it is 50% for all which it isn't.He admited being gay, he refused to look at facts because he didn't like where he found them. THat's like a fisherman not wanting to look under a rock to get worms because its too dirty. The references are documented and proven to be factual, you are impotent to prove them wrong or provide your own contray evidence. All you have is posturing, and hyperventillating screeching.Seriously , don't you have any evidence to support your side?I'll stand by for your next oppinionated rant if not.

Lets see if you still agree if Virginia is really about equal protection under the law, or if they are about allowing discrimination against GLBT:http://digg.com/politics/Virginia_orders_colleges_ ...
