No, a minimum altitude is 0 (at sea level)What they're saying is that highest (reliably) measured altitude was 68miles, but it went higher than that.Sorry to be a logic nazi, it's been a long day and you're a dummy.

because of the "virgin" in the title I read "galactic" as "catholic" lol (I thought it was one of those krazy cults that was going to go visit god in space or sometin')

if the cabin was not pressurized the passengers would not last long

Yes.

Yes but, wouldn't you get sick thinking that you could push down on the 'floor' to stay up, instead you would be floating towards the 'ceiling'. My two cents, and I'm reading Ender's game so, I found that little tid bit interesting.BTW if you mute their audio and put on the Star Trek: Voyager theme song it lines up pretty well.

They're not wearing pressure suits, this has been stated many times. The helmest in the video just appear to be for safety (avoid bonks on the head).

Eventually they will go orbital Rutan refers to that stage as spiral threeVirgin's SS2 is spiral two with SS1 being spiral one.Rutan is presently working with this group on an orbital space craft . http://www.transformspace.com/If you ask me it's far better design then nasa's present replacement for the shuttle the orion ares combination. It's very likely the private groups like t/space or spacedev for example might even beat NASA back to the moon. Give these guys the 3.6 billion that just the orion vehicle development is projected to cost they will land someone on the moon.
