virb.com — Brought to you by the people who made PureVolume, Virb is more or less what Myspace should've been, it's well designed, has better features, greater customisability (Easier and you can do more advanced work), etc.

Nevermind, looks like it was a glitch as they're open again now.

Digg is still in fact, much easier to use! When you come to the site, you see the content, not advertisements!Still, digg is laggy too, just look at the amount of kilobytes that have been wasted by each load........

I do not see any ads on the actual pages accept at the bottom, there are a few ads (google cents) where you customize your page. Personally I like it, you just need a basic knowledge of code to really make it your own. Here ill put myself out theremy myspace page http://www.myspace.com/placid_ninja Yeah I thought this was ok :Pnow my virb page http://www.virb.com/pirate virb is much cleaner and far better design wise, plus Bloc Party is pro virb so I am gonna go with them.

check out YadaYadaMobile.com ... it is a pretty amazing concept: they are going to make cell phone service free! it reminds me of Virb -- doing things better. i mean really, who actually enjoys paying for their cell phone each month?

I enjoy MySpace's "ghetto appeal" because it means that i can find decent hip-hop. after searching for Clipse, Tribe called Quest, Mos Def, Akon, and Sugarhill Gang, I couldn't find anythign on Virb. WTF??

I have to say virb is 10x better due to customization, and many other features that can easily be implemented into this. this very well may be the myspace killer. Just freshly created today my page if you want to say hello, if not digg downhttp://www.virb.com/brada55306

sorry. but this is way too confusing to even add content to your profile. even though myspace may look bad it's still a hell of a lot easier to customize. and also the reason myspace is so big is because of the amount of people on it and there would be no way to get all of your friends to switch so that isn't even a valid argument.

btw. I fixed my myspace to work with IE

That's what sucks most. People are too dumb to realize the horrendus design of a site like MySpace and won't go elsewhere. I have one friend on my Virb account (but I just signed up yesterday). I can't see myself gaining existing friends from MySpace. As close as they are to me, they're stupid when it comes to what's best and prefer to be sheep.

yeah it'd be nice if i could acctually sign up. Both virb and PureVolume give me 'validation error' when i sign up, if anyone knows what's wrong please let me know, it's killing me.
