engadget.com— After yesterday's news that Microsoft was launching a lawsuit campaign against the John Does responsible for FairUse4WM, we weren't expecting the next volley to come so soon.

"FairPlay for iTunes 7"There really isn't a such thing; FairPlay itself is a standalone protocol as a part of Quicktime 7, which has its own version, that isn't necessarily linked to the version of iTunes you're using. What you're really saying is that FairPlay 2 was broken, and Apple hasn't updated it yet (as it was broken very, very late in the life of iTunes 6, in fact, just days before iTunes 7 was released).
thanks :-)noticed that Microsoft is now saying that he must have used the Death Star firewall infultration laser to slip into their system to gain access to the source code.scary s**t! or perhaps he did so without all this microvoodoo magic - instead of suiting him in the galactica space court they could have started dialog with him.

Handcuffs cannot be good, dude.Even if they're made of gold and looking great, they're still handcuffs and mainly intended to take your freedom away, everything else is secondary.DRM manufacturers are violating basic law principles: everybody is innocent unless proven guilty.Even if this not allows to make moneys to some bastardish corporations. The FAIR WAY (should I say Fair Play?) is to sell unrestricted but personally watermarked content. This will allow to trace pirates but will not restrict legal use and will not cripple anyone rights.Look, nobody is jailed just because "he (she) can theoretically kill someone so we better jail him (her) right now to ensure safety".
