uruknet.info — We, like many other websites, posted a video allegedly showing the aftermath of an IDF air strike on a Gaza market. The video turned out to be disinformation: it was not shot three days ago, as indicated by the link, and has nothing to do with the current conflict.

"That doesn't dismiss that Israel is bombing civilian targets."Hmm... except that Israel does _not_ intentionally bomb civilian targets... In fact it goes out of its way and puts its own forces at risk to avoid civilian casualties. Please give me an example of a military that was more conscientious than the IDF about collateral damage in similar circumstances.

israel sure hits a lot of civilians.and tellingly, sometimes the pilots intentionally miss their targets because they're starting to notice too."As international outrage over civilian deaths grows, the spotlight is increasingly turning on Israeli air operations. The Observer has learnt that one senior commander who has been involved in the air attacks in Lebanon has already raised concerns that some of the air force's actions might be considered 'war crimes'.Yonatan Shapiro, a former Blackhawk helicopter pilot dismissed from reserve duty after signing a 'refusenik' letter in 2004, said he had spoken with Israeli F-16 pilots in recent days and learnt that some had aborted missions because of concerns about the reliability of intelligence information. According to Shapiro, some pilots justified aborting missions out of 'common sense' and in the context of the Israeli Defence Force's moral code of conduct, which says every effort should be made to avoiding harming civilians.Shapiro said: 'Some pilots told me they have shot at the side of targets because they're afraid people will be there, and they don't trust any more those who give them the coordinates and targets.'He added: 'One pilot told me he was asked to hit a house on a hill, which was supposed to be a place from where Hizbollah was launching Katyusha missiles. But he was afraid civilians were in the house, so he shot next to the house ...'Pilots are always being told they will be judged on results, but if the results are hundreds of dead civilians while Hizbollah is still able to fire all these rockets, then something is very wrong.'http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2006/aug/06/israel ...

i'll do you one better: the bully in this scenario is actually a child.that's what gaza seems to be compared to israel. they have s**tty rockets that sometimes don't even make it to israel at all. and it's not ok that they aim them at israel. let me state again: it is not ok that they aim anything at israel.but israel does not use tiny s**tty rockets. they use realio-trulio bombs and jets and tanks. it's as though you allow just one kid in the class to have a beretta, and the teacher just hopes to hell no one f**ks with him.palestine is the kid who has to sit next to him.and this is not "not pulling any crap". this is sending a depressed, possibly suicidal man out for vengeance:"Even a pregnant woman - shoot her without mercy, if she has a terrorist behind her. This is the way I thought in Jenin. I answered to no one. Didn't give a damn."http://electronicintifada.net/v2/article1262.shtml"“‘After the first moments of the fighting, when a commander was killed . . . the instructions were clear: Shoot every window, spray every house—whether someone shoots from there or not.’ To the question of whether he saw civilians get hurt, the reservist answered, ‘Personally, no. But the point is that they were inside the houses. The last days, the majority of those who came out of the houses were old people, women, and children, who were there the whole time and absorbed our fire. These people were not given any chance to leave the camp, and we are talking about many people.’”http://www.jenininquiry.org/

The Palis elected these people on purpose, knowing full well what they stood for and what they've done before.
