It doesn't matter if it's "a" or "the" commander guy...the words "commander guy" together are a pretty idiotic way for a President to refer to himself.
I think that all of the people who just can't wait to jump down the president's throat when he says something that is seemingly stupid come across as being far more idiotic than the president himself at this point. It is pretty clear what he meant, even just by watching that 10 second clip. John F. Kennedy once said (in German) that he was a jelly donut. That pales in comparison to this story, which really is more about people waiting for any chance they can get to call this president an idiot than anything else (which, in my opinion, is just as a big a problem in this country right now as the president himself, who, for the record, I am not exactly all that fond of either).
